U.S. Amateur Spectator Information

We look forward to welcoming you to Merion Golf Club for the 126th U.S. Amateur.  The championship will take place August 10-16, 2026, with two days of stroke play qualifying (August 10 and 11) also taking place at Philadelphia Country Club.

Attending the U.S. Amateur

Tickets are on sale now for the 126th U.S. Amateur. Click here to purchase your tickets. Merion members should visit the Member Central page of the website for a separate link to puchase tickets. Tickets are not required at Philadelphia Country Club during stroke play qualifying.

Tuesday, August 11 - Stroke Play Qualifying (Merion Golf Club and Philadelphia Country Club)
Wednesday, August 12 - Match Play Begins  - Round of 64
Thursday, August 13 - Round of 32 and Round of 16
Friday, August 14 - Quarterfinals
Saturday, August 15 - Semifinals
Sunday, August 16 - 36-Hole Championship Match
 

Getting to Merion Golf Club

Spectators are strongly encouraged to utilize SEPTA's transportation to Ardmore Avenue Station, which is steps from the Club's entrance at Haverford Road and Ardmore Avenue. (See picture for location.) Visit SEPTA.org for helpful information on traveling to the championship.

Limited spectator parking will be available at Villanova University with shuttle service between the parking lot and Merion Golf Club throughout play. Stay tuned for more information on parking and transportation options.

Food & Beverage Options

Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase at concession locations on the golf course. Card payment only - cash cannot be accepted at concession locations.
 

Merchandise

Official championship merchandise will be available for purchase in Merion's Golf Shop. Card payment only - cash cannot be accepted.
